Andy Perryman has spent his life in ministry and, at 79 years old, is still answering the call each day. As Associational Missionary of the Georgia Baptist Association, Andy serves 43 churches across Northeast Georgia, walking alongside pastors and congregations as a source of encouragement, guidance, and practical help. He began serving the GBA on November 1, 2007. He is married to Joni, and they have three grown children and three grandchildren.

Andy’s ministry reflects the spirit of the old circuit riders. He knows church life up close, from Sunday mornings and business meetings to hospital visits and quiet conversations over coffee. With decades of ministerial experience, he brings a calm, listening presence and a deep respect for the faithfulness of local churches, especially those doing steady work without much fanfare.
Andy believes strong churches are built on relationships, consistency, and trust in God’s long work. His heart is to help congregations stay rooted, supported, and hopeful as they continue serving God through serving their communities.
